This popular Palma restaurant offers a delicious fusion of Mediterranean and Asian cuisine. Chef Tomeu Martí – nephew of the restaurant’s owner Pedro Martí – developed his Asian culinary skills during time spent working in Tokyo, and opened Arume in 2006. Culinary influences from Japan, Thailand, Vietnam and elsewhere are combined with Mediterranean ingredients and techniques, resulting in innovative and memorable dishes.
Arume Restaurant & Sushi Bar
Arume is open for lunch and dinner, and offers a weekly-changing set lunchtime menu, Mondays to Fridays (three courses plus coffee, water or glass of wine). Try their two new tasting menus, enabling you to try the variety of flavours and textures in their star dishes: the seven-plate Menu Arume and the 10-plate Golden Menu.
The restaurant is conveniently located near underground public car parking, and just a short walk from Palma’s Intermodal Station. It seats around 65 diners and the upper-floor dining area is suitable for private gatherings of around 20. Sushi fans will also enjoy a visit to Arume’s Sushi Bar in Santa Catalina market, where you can sip a Japanese beer while watching your food being prepared to order.
About the Chef…
Tomeu creates a unique and innovative fusion of Japanese and Mediterranean cuisine. His signature dish is the carpacccio de atún picante con ensalada de germinados y brotes de soja.
We love… the convenience of the location.
