Korean restaurateur Yang-Soon Kang has opened her latest project: Bimil is a welcoming lounge in the heart of Palma’s Old Town and overlooking Plaça del Mercat, just a few steps’ away from her other successful business, Bi Bap restaurant.
Bimil has a calming Asian ambience and offers unique house cocktails (with a touch of Far Eastern magic), a fine selection of wines, and delicious healthy Asian bar food made from fresh ecological ingredients by the chefs at neighbouring Bi Bap.
An impressive contemporary chandelier sparkles over both the ground and intimate mezzanine lounge spaces, which offer a choice of seating styles. The stylish décor includes attractive modern Asian artworks on the walls.
It’s the ideal place to come and relax in a lounge atmosphere for an after-work wine, cocktails with friends, or some tasty Asian bites after a day of shopping or sightseeing.
Open every evening, Bimil also offers a weekly entertainment programme with live music and theatre shows: come for ‘Las Noches de Bimil’ every Thursday from 20:00h.
Bimil is located in Plaça del Mercat in the heart of Palma de Mallorca. Close to the city’s prime shopping streets, it is only a short walk from the Plaça Major underground car park and around 10 minutes’ walk from Palma’s integrated rail and bus station.
Bimil offers a variety of tasty small Asian bites made from fresh organic ingredients, and bursting with Korean and other Asian flavours.
An example of these is the Tartar of tuna with yusa and truffle
