At Celler Can Amer in Inca you will find delicious Mallorcan food in a traditional cellar venue dating back to the 18th century. The restaurant was originally built as a wine cellar and the same huge barrels that have always been there line the walls and add atmosphere.

With an eye on maintaining the authenticity and tradition of these delightful cellars, and because of the close relationship between wine and food, Celler Can Amer was beautifully refurbished as a restaurant with respect paid to the original architectural style.

Typical à la carte dishes from Celler Can Amer:
- Cheeses from the islands
- Acorn-fed ham
- Foie-gras terrine
- Mushroom terrine
- Suckling pig
- Shoulder of lamb stuffed with aubergines and sobrasada (spicy pork sausage)
- Confit of cod with olive oil
- Cod with saffron parmentier sauce and mushrooms
- Salmon stuffed with seafood mousse
- Guinea fowl stuffed with almonds and dried fruit
- Roasted leg of sucking lamb with honey and orange sauce
Celler Can Amer also offers a good-value lunchtime ‘menú del día’ and, at weekends (Friday to Sunday) a ‘menú maridaje’ – five-course set menu with wine pairing.
Desserts are home-made and there’s a daily-changing list of recommended seasonal market-cuisine dishes.
It is not just the food that brings people back to Celler Can Amer time-after-time, but also their comprehensive wine list and they have been awarded the impressive title of best wine list in Mallorca. At Celler Can Amer you will find an extensive list of Spanish wines as well as many excellent Mallorca wines produced locally and many award-winning wines from the likes of Toni and Miquel Gelabert.
Chef Tomeu Torrens
Antonia Cantallops and José Torrens opened the restaurant in 1963. Antonia is considered one of the best cooks in Mallorca and she has taken time and attention to research Mallorcan cuisine. Over time, she reinvented ancient recipes, and modernised them to suit contemporary tastes. The chef now is Tomeu Torrens who maintains an excellent attention to detail and authenticity to the food.
