The Archduke’s Consort are a group of four talented musicians who stage performances of Renaissance and Baroque works around Mallorca. On Saturday 12th March, they will hold a rousing show of Italian and English music from the 16th and 17th centuries in Sóller.
The Archduke’s Consort consists of: Fiona Stuart-Wilson (soprano),Guillermo Femenias (lute and renaissance guitar), Tamara Heideveld (harp) and Marta Ambrós (spinet). The Sóller audience will hear music by composers Claudio Monteverdi, Biagio Marini, Girolamo Frescobaldi, John Dowland, William Byrd and others.
All are welcomed to come and discover their wonderfully evocative arrangement of renaissance and baroque sounds. Tickets may be purchased on the door, priced at 15€.
