Mr and Mrs Eisenmann from Germany came to the island to buy a manageable finca for horse breeding. They planned to be the largest private land owners in Mallorca. It was love at first sight when the entrepreneurial couple saw the old manor of Es Fangar from the plane above. Over the last few years they have managed to recultivate 1,000 acres of land. Gradually cultivating the the land, the hills of Son Prohens were carefully converted to vineyards and horse paddocks, surrounded by woods of pine trees and holm oaks – as far as the eye can see.

Nine years ago, the owners called winemaker Daniel Morales Rodríguez in order to hire him; Mr Eisenmann asked him to be patient. He wanted to give the vines twelve years and then start commercial production. This is a true luxury only few people can afford. Impressed by this philosophy, Daniel asked what his task would entail. He began to plant progressively, to extend the older vineyards. He studied the soil extensively and experimented with grape juice in a special container lab.
The first vintage came on the market before 12 years had passed. But even today, the production volume is relatively small. The selection of grapes is the basis for the current success. Slow growth is intentional – and the key to success. Today there are a large number of vines on the island, but Mallorca is not huge in terms of production.
Callet, Manto Negro & Cabernet Sauvignon.
An elegant black and red liquid is in the glass. The intense aroma of ripe berries and fresh figs perfume the air. The same arrives on the palate, almost jammy. Very well balanced with amazing elegance. The fine structure of the wine turns into a powerful aftertaste.
The elegance of the island in one wine. Certainly one of the best Mallorcan products for a huge clientele.
Manto Negro, Cabernet Sauvignon, Callet, Merlot & Syrah.
This wine is fun from the moment it’s poured: dark cherry flows into the glass. The bouquet is pure and powerful, with an intense aroma of currant, cherries, and spices; all surrounded by brilliantly integrated wood notes. The palate is dense and powerful. The aftertaste lasts until the next sip.
Elegant powerhouse. Drinking is pure enjoyment!
