Treasured Creations….

Beautiful dressing tables have been used throughout the centuries as a peaceful place from where to start and end the day, a place to keep treasured possessions and an opportunity to reflect ones own personal style.

We are delighted to present a selection of our distinctive and elegant bespoke hand painted dressing tables and other furniture. The inspirations for our unique designs are taken from the spectacular natural beauty and colours of the Island of Mallorca.

Individual pieces sourced from across Europe, restored and enhanced in our studio in Calvia. We can also be commissioned to work on your own treasured pieces of furniture to your individual design and colour schemes.

Glorious Gold…..

Real gold adds that unmistakable touch of luxury in a range of settings from homes, hotels, yachts and even palaces.

We undertake a wide range of interior and exterior gilding projects that include furniture and frames as well as creating ornate finishes to railings and sculptures.

We offer a wide range of alternative finishes. Gilding can be left complete, or it can be distressed or given an aged patina to further enhance the overall look of your desired finish. Combinations of different types of metal leaf can also be used as part of the colour scheme as it can beautifully complement specialist paint effects as part of an entire room scheme.

Restoration & Repair….

We can repair and restore your treasured pieces of furniture and decorative items using sympathetic hand painted finishes and specialist gilding techniques.

We have specialist gilding skills and can replace decorative mouldings and then gild these in gold and silver leaf. We undertake individual commissions on both antique and contemporary objects such as mirrors, picture frames, figurines, ceramics, busts, chandeliers and many other decorative items.

Our Designer, Sarah Bowers, is an experienced artist specialising in decorative paint effects. Sarah trained at the Plymouth College of Art & Design in the UK where she studied Interior and Visual Design and Creative Paint Techniques. She has been trained by a master gilder in the art of specialist gilding skills. She lived and worked in the UK until the latter part of 2007 when she re-located permanently to Mallorca. This move enabled her to realise her dream, to open her own business specialising in hand painted furniture.

“My love of antique Dressing Tables inspired me to create Celestial Inspirations SL. The Dressing Table has been used throughout the centuries and is traditionally the centre piece of a woman’s bedroom. I love my own Dressing Table because it provides me with a peaceful place from where I can start and end the day, a place to keep my treasured possessions and an opportunity to reflect my own personal style.

Each piece of furniture I produce is unique and designed to be beautiful and treasured by its owner, perhaps even an heirloom to be handed down from generation to generation.
