Palma’s old town has a particularly special ambiance in December, when the streets fill with people out admiring the beautiful Christmas lights and window displays. The festive atmosphere beautifully complemented Galeria Veintinueve’s evening celebration of its newly-opened space, at number four Carrer Can Puigdorfila.
The concept boutique’s outdoor courtyard was filled with exquisite pieces of art and design, including iconic twentieth-century furniture and paintings. Striking artwork by Lídia Masllorens, known for her distinctive Marilyn Monroe portraits, hung beside haunting pieces by Alejandro Marco.
Catalan artists Brono Ollé and Jordi Alcaraz also featured, adding to the rich contemporary art feel of the event.
The gallery curators completed the evening with greenery, dramatic lighting and music, and welcomed visitors to toast the fresh expansion of their premises with a festive glass of fizz.
