Nando Esteva is one of the most promising young talents contemporary advertising photography has to offer. The talented young Spanish photographer Nando Esteva has been awarded prizes at the 2012 International Photography Awards of Los Angeles.
The 1st place in the category for “Advertising – Food” was awarded for the works “Carpintería de Mariscos” (“Seafood Carpentry”) and and an “Honorable Mention in Advertising-other category” was awarded for his work “250 gr. de tacón” (“250 gr. of heel”). “Carpintería de Mariscos” is a collection of expressive photographs of marine crustaceans and molluscs with tools. In contrast “250 gr. de tacón” is a prizewinning work that convert shoes by shoe designer José Miró into butcher´s projects.
The well travelled photographer has photographed advertising campaigns for well know brands such as Bacardi, Braun, Farrutx, Camper and the Mallorca based Tristan Group. His works have been published in renowned international publications including Elle and Vogue. In the past 3 years he has receive 3 LUX awards and has also collaborated with abcMallorca Magazine on many occasions.
