Sandro is one of Palma’s best authentic Italian restaurants and takes its name from the charming owner, Sandro Putignano, whom regular diners at the former Tristán restaurant in Puerto Portals would probably remember from his time working there.
Happily at the helm of his own business for a few years, Sandro has created a corner restaurant with an elegant but simple décor and a welcoming ambience, that’s full of the charm and warmth of his native country.
Open for lunch and dinner (except Mondays), the restaurant offers live music on Thursday evenings, when Paolo Aragona is at the grand piano. Set menus are available for lunch and dinner every weekday (prices are just slightly higher at the weekends and on public holidays), as well as à la carte and white truffle menus.
A taste of ‘la dolce vita’ awaits you at Sandro restaurant and you could be forgiven for thinking you’ve been transported to Italy. Fans of Italian cuisine will be delighted with the choice of dishes, which includes some real crowd-pleasers. Sandro visits the market daily to buy the fresh, prime-quality produce used here.
