‘WINE EDUCATORS INTERNATIONAL led by resident director Martin Ward offers wine entertainment, education & events to Mallorca.
Our activities & services are available to consumers and their visitors, businesses & organisations; as well as to restaurants & hotels, their staff and guests.
We present, independently & objectively, tutored tastings themed to the bodegas of Mallorca and the Balearics, those of mainland Spain and of course elsewhere internationally of European and New World producers…..
For your groups of friends, colleagues or visitors, the tastings are fun whilst educational, informative yet informal and there are also our specialist sessions featuring wine tastes (& even faults(!), wine & glass matching or food & wine pairings. Events can even be arranged over a full weekend, being ‘immersed’ in the wine and food of the island!
The food & wine theme can be extended to, in conjunction with the islands’ top hotels & restaurants, hosting a dinner or lunch featuring excellent wines from top properties matched to a menu specially prepared for you by the chefs.
We pride ourselves on two things in particular, the first being the professionalism of our international team of qualified tutors, all of whom have vast experience and knowledge but who also very much enjoy their roles. Secondly we are able to compile an event or programme of events exactly to your needs, including many diverse ‘add-ons’ in terms of activities. So the logistics and tailoring of your package is always in very good hands.
Our team, including affiliates and guest presenters, each have their own specialist subjects, which gives us a very broad base of expertise, which apart from the topics mentioned above, include trainers in the fields of sales and presentation skills, PR and marketing, even food hygiene.
So for the 4 day meeting at one of our luxury hotels; with a programme including a tutored tasting of world Chardonnays, a gourmet Mallorquin dinner featuring crystal glassware (which delegates can then take away with them), a seminar on Sherry and tapas – plus a colour and image consultancy session, call us! Alternatively of course you might simply like to entertain with a 2-hour tasting of wines from Mallorca or South Africa, or show your guests just what English wines are all about today.
We can even escort you on a 7-day fully escorted tour of the vineyards of Spain, France or California!
