Miquel Aparici is a multidisciplinary artist trained in graphic design who has a very personal artistic vision. Galeria Veintinueve presented a total of 27 conversation-starting sculptures representing the ingenious work of the artist, who is current art director of the magazine El Jueves, in a special exhibition evening.
Miquel Aparici sculptures are striking assemblages made from recycled objects such as obsolete iron and wood. The artist was present at the sociable event, his works were spread throughout the gallery and out on the terrace for the pleasure of guests, who viewed the collection – a wide variety of animals from small birds to a whale, a dog and a lifesize cheetah, fish tanks, secret books and other unique pieces – accompanied by wine and cava.
You can see the exhibition at Galeria Veintinueve until Sunday the 12th of June, 2016.
