On May 22nd, Balearic citizens vote in the municipal elections. The results will influence such aspects as tourism, the economy, employment, education and the health service. As foreign residents (and EU citizens), we have the democratic right to vote and play our part in shaping future local government. To vote, you must be on your local town hall register and also on the census, before April 11th.
In light of recent political and economic events on the island, here is your opportunity to vote for a new beginning.
