My New Year’s resolution is to think positive. That’s a very healthy start to 2009, don’t you think? For me, that means not listening to or reading any more negative stuff. I’m only interested in hearing positive news, optimism, opportunities, happiness, enthusiasm, ¡por favor! I generally look on the bright side of life, find the silver lining in the cloud and look for ways to turn disappointments into opportunities. I believe this is the reason why I enjoy my life.
If you expect the best, then that’s what you get. It’s a self-fulfilling prophecy.
In this edition we have lots of interesting articles about health and wellness, headlining with an interview with Gabriel Uguet Adróver, the managing director of Clínica Juaneda. A good diet has a lot to do with maintaining a healthy mind and body and we find out more from ‘The Body Coach’ Caroline Bienert.
Rather than dwelling on the negative, we have put together an article about how your business can reduce costs while increasing flexibility and efficiency. If you want to sell your house in these challenging times then maybe you need a consultation with ‘The House Doctor’ Justine Knox, who knows how to prepare a property so that it sells faster and for a higher price.
If you are in business on the island and want to join our ‘think positive campaign’ then come along to the next abcBusiness lunch, where we believe that working together we can achieve great things, and get your injection of positive energy. And we did achieve amazing things last year, so no wonder we are looking forward to another fantastic year in 2009. We truly hope you believe you can make this year a great one too.
Happy New Year!
