Much has been written about the sea, but none said it better than Virginia Woolf when she wrote; “the sea and sky looked all one fabric, as if sails were stuck high up in the sky, or the clouds had dropped down into the sea.” This inversion of water and land is true in Mallorca. The bay of Alcúdia offers spectacular sunsets and clear blue skies mingling into crystal turquoise waters inspire many to come to the Spanish island. The creativity inspired by the landscape and culture are why we choose to stay.
Rental villa location
The Northeast Mallorca is historically one of the most coveted summer home destinations for Spain´s gentility, and for good reason. The Roman walled village of Alcúdia is a famous archeological site and living history. The island’s unspoilt coast in this area is a throwback to another era-still as pristine as it was when Grace Kelly sunbathed on a wooden sailboat with Prince Rainier- then floated to Mal Pas to watch the sunset over the Tramuntana mountain´s crown, Formentor. The authentic Mallorcan village of Pollenca has a charming sunday market. Fans of the ‘Night Manager‘ (which was filmed in this area of Mallorca), will find Villa Dos Leones a dreamy destination- you might just spy Jonathan Pine on the beach nearby.
