Avenida Jaime III is one of Palma’s busiest high streets and part of the shopping area known as the Golden Mile. It stretches between Paseo Mallorca and Paseo Borne. The avenue is lined with elegant 20th century neo-Baroque buildings with porticoes on either side.
Numerous international brands have shops here; Mango, Farinelli, Desigual, L’Occitane, Calzedonia, WomenSecret to name a few. There is also El Corte Inglés department store. While the main reason for visiting Avenida Jaime III is its shops, many of Palma’s finest restaurants are close by. Restaurant Cuit is located on the 8th floor of Nakar Hotel, while Aromata and Fera, both excellent options for a refined lunch, are on Calle de la Concepción.
