About Bellver International College
Bellver International College is the longest established private British School in Spain and offers a co-educational, non-denominational, bilingual education. Many pupils join the school at age three and remain there all the way up to 18, with 99% of sixth formers going on to university. The environment is friendly and welcoming, and parents are always kept up to date and informed about their children’s progress.

Although the school follows the British National Curriculum and English is the official teaching language, the majority of pupils at Bellver College are Spanish. Spanish is widely spoken outside the classroom, and all pupils become fluent. Spanish teachers can also prepare students for Spanish Ministry of Education examinations.
Bellver International College is the official examination centre for Cambridge and Exceled exam boards, and offers 15 subjects at IGCSE level and 13 at A/AS level. Catalan, German and French are also offered at all levels.
The school has an impressive academic record with over 90% of pupils gaining at least 5 GCSEs and pass rate of over 96% at A level.
The school day runs from 08.55 to 16:15 hrs and the school year runs from early September to late June.
Being a ‘city school’ located in a residential area in Marivent, the outdoor spaces and sports facilities are limited. Children tend to travel by bus to other locations to practice sports and other activities.
Extra Curricular Activities
Extra curricular activities take place during the lunch hour and after school and residential trips are also organized.
After school clubs include a book club, sewing, football, art, board games, chess, theatre and Chinese Mandarin.
In years 10 – 13 students can take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Award, which teaches valuable life skills and challenges individuals to exceed personal expectations.
School fees range from 2200€ to 3560€ per term, depending on age. There is an additional annual accident insurance fee of 24€ per student and a registration fee of 1200€.
Hot lunches are supplied daily by an outside catering firm.
The school is located in Marivent, just 3km from the centre of Palma. It’s a ten minute drive from the old town and the buses 3 and 20 offer a regular service.
