Almaq at Es Princep
Set on the 800-square-metre rooftop of the five-star Es Princep hotel, the Almaq bar offers its guests some of the most expansive and elevated sea views in Palma. Located on the edge of old town, the bar also overlooks the old city ramparts, with views stretching far along the bay.

Hotel San Francesc Rooftop Terrace
Well known as one of Palma’s swankiest hotels, head to the top of Hotel Sant Francesc and you’ll also find a wonderful rooftop terrace. As well as offering a bar with an excellent menu, there’s also some fine views over the neighbouring church and surrounding historic rooftops.
Open to public from 19:00 to 23:00/23:30 hrs. Bar from Tuesday to Saturday in summer. Rainy days closed. The rooftop bar closes and the end of the summer season (September/October).

Sky Lounge at Hostal Cuba
One of the capital’s worst-kept secrets, the Sky Lounge bar on the fringes of Santa Catalina has a small rooftop area than can fill up quickly. Cocktails are excellent, however, and the sweeping views take in everything from the cathedral all the way to Bellver Castle on the distant hillside.

Beatnik Restaurant & Bar
Housed in the hip Purohotel, the Beatnik Restaurant & Bar is certainly one of the cooler hang-out locales in Palma. Located in the La Lonja neighbourhood, the rooftop of this converted 18th-century palazzo features some superb rooftop panoramas, best enjoyed from one of the loftier canopied day beds.
Es Baluard Restaurant and Lounge
Positioned behind the Es Baluard Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, the sunny terrace of its bar-restaurant is prime vista real estate. Set up on the city’s ancient wall, the space provides sweeping views over the adjacent marina, plus a panorama that takes in the city’s cathedral.
