Opened in 2016, the five-star Park Hyatt Mallorca houses the simply named Tapas Bar, offering a fabulous selection of Spanish cuisine which mixes classic dishes with innovative twists. A crackling fire and low-lighting also make for a particularly cosy evening meal.

Another top-end hotel on the other side of Artá, the Carrossa Hotel Spa Villas houses the Bistro Badia restaurant, where classic cuisine is expertly prepared with top-quality ingredients. The views from the terrace are also spectacular.
Amazing value for money
Forn Nou – a restaurant within a six-bedroom hotel in the town of Artà – offers a ‘menú del día’ (14€ at time of writing) – but you must book for this the day before. They also offer a three-course dinner.

A memorable experience
In summer, dining alfresco at Michelin star Andreu Genestra offers views of the floodlit Capdepera Castle, whereas its sister restaurant Bistro Senzill offers high-end gastronomy in a casual setting, also located in the same hotel.
