Restaurants by the water
Eating close to water is a must for many visiting Mallorca and the popular Flanigan restaurant overlooks the marina in Puerto Portals ticks that box with style. As does Restaurant Villa Italia in the 4-star Hotel Villa Italia in Port d’Andratx, whose elevated position means that the views over the harbour are unbeatable and, being at the quieter end of the port, the restaurant feels less frenetic than some of the more-central roadside eateries.
Between the Mediterranean views and the enticing menu, Purobeach Illetas, shows its talent with seaside dining. The large, spacious eating area is designed in true Puro fashion, with everything über-cool and white. Nikki Beach, located in the newly renovated area of Magaluf, is the place to eat and drink with a group of 10-20 friends for fun and to enjoy the party atmosphere and glamour of the Nikki Beach brand. To be sure of eating at Sumailla, it’s best to book two or three days ahead.
