Spa hotels in Palma
With the proliferation of luxury boutique hotels in the Mallorca capital, the number of places to stay in Palma with spa facilities have increased in kind. Made up mostly of converted period palazzos, spas are mostly modest in size though with top-end treatments and atmospheric historic setting.

Hotel Glòria de Sant Jaume
This internationally acclaimed boutique hotel certainly deserves each of its five stars, not least for its bijou spa. Honey-hued marès stone walls combine with deluxe spa facilities in this subterranean space, which offers a surprisingly long lap pool with hydromassage, plus there’s a hammam, sauna and relaxation lounge in what was once the hotel’s water reservoir. Massage rooms also offer a good range of treatments.
Out of the city, though within easy reach of the centre is the Maricel – oozing old-school glamour with an enviable seafront setting.
