A new restaurant & lounge has officially opened its doors in Portitxol.
Bite is the new trendy venue in Portitxol that offers Mediterranean, yet international dishes and flavours.
The restaurant uses local and seasonal products, as well as products cultivated on their finca in Pollensa.
The chef, Igor Rodríguez has won five editions of the Tapalma festival and has also been the runner-up of Spain’s 9th National Contest of Pinchos and Tapas in Valladolid in 2013. He has been living for 18 years on the island, getting the inspiration for his cooking from the island’s unique colours and flavours and his homeland, Donosti.
The products used for the production of Bite’s menu come from Loveat.es by Laura Buadas. Loveat.es, beyond organics, is a new online platform to buy ecological products for fair price. You can find their products at Paseo de Illetas, 4 bajos – local 10 from Monday to Friday (9-19h) and Saturdays from 10h-14h.
