This highly rated restaurant opened in May 2016 to offer a new gastronomic experience in the up-and-coming Palma old town district of Sa Gerreria. The cuisine is modern Mediterranean: the kitchen takes high-quality ingredients, and adds new textures and international flavours to traditional Mediterranean recipes, to surprise and delight the palate. A good selection of local, national, and international wines is offered.
On weekdays clients can take advantage of an excellent-value set lunch menu (with choices) that changes each week (the price includes bread, appetizer, beverage, coffee, and VAT). In addition, they offer à la carte and group menus, as well as a welcoming ambience, attractive setting, and good service.
Chef Alvaro del Campo
Alvaro is from Seville, where he excelled at his culinary studies at the hotel school in the Heliopolis district. He further developed his skills at Ferran Adrià’s El Bulli. He was soon featuring in ABC newspaper and on local TV station, Canal Sur. He worked in Seville’s La Azotea before travelling to learn more about international cuisine.
In London, he cooked for events for leading companies such as Harrods, Disney, Apple, and Google. Alvaro also cooked for musical stars, including Ed Sheeran (his concerts at Wembley Stadium and the Paris Airshow).
After London, Alvaro moved to Mallorca to work at Forn de Sant Joan, then Bocalto. The chef offers a “renewed cuisine based on Mediterranean traditions with international flair.”
