An experienced French winemaker and nobleman came to Mediterranean Mallorca in search of the extraordinary and different. Count Fabrice de Suyrot no longer wanted to be “just one” among many winemakers in Bordeaux. The search for a new challenge drove him. It should be something new, something different, something special. In the end he found a piece of land that was used for viticulture many years before Phylloxera came and snapped it up.

Fabrice planted new vines in 2006 on this particular soil in Colònia de Sant Pere. No mass product would arise here; the historic heritage would be reclaimed and used. He wanted to produce large crops here in this barren landscape: honest wines, associated with the local conditions and traditions. Production is still very limited, but the shortage of supply is being improved. For this reason, nine hectares were replanted. The growing clientele is thirsty for more of the red juice of Conde de Suyrot.
Es Mussol 2013
A sunny-yellow wine flows into the glass. The bouquet tastes like citrus, melon, and pear. A potpourri of fruity flavours meets the palate. The aftertaste is fantastic, combining with a long-lasting finish, full of freshness.
A special Malvasia, with lots of sun and salt atmosphere.
Sa Llebre 2013
Cabernet Sauvingon, Tempranillo, Callet & Manto Negro.
Wonderful red reflections in the glass. The fine bouquet shows a variety of flavours such as ripe figs, exotic spices, tobacco, and coffee. On the palate, this wine is lively and perfectly balanced. Aftertaste is a little young, but will evolve over the coming years.
A wine with which one can taste that noblesse oblige!
