Ca’s Patro March has always been popular with locals and holidaymakers alike, but since taking a starring role in BBC drama The Night Manager, demand for bookings at the Cala Deià restaurant has soared.
In order to improve access, Deià council has announced it is spending €256,000 on rebuilding the steps to the beach, and the creation of 60 new car parking spaces.
The TV adaptation of John le Carré’s spy novel won a total of three Golden Globes in January. Ca’s Patro March is the setting for scene featuring the supposed kidnap of Richard Roper’s son, Danny.
