About Cala Santanyí
Cala Santanyí is a low-key holiday resort and beach located about 10 kilometres from the charming village of Santanyi, on the south-eastern coast of Mallorca. The 130-metre long beach is made up of fine, white sand and the waters are clear and calm, perfect for families as well as for good snorkelling. Thought it can get crowded in the summer, it is a Blue Flag beach, marking its cleanliness and high environmental standards.
Several small-to-mid size hotels are located on the beach as well as several restaurants serving good beach fare, tapas, grilled fish and more. Here you can rent sunbeds and parasols and there are a few watersports and activities for hire including paddle boats and canoes. There are showers and toilet facilities onsite. Cala Santanyí is particularly popular with Germans, families as well as Spanish visitors. There are pine and juniper trees along the low, rocky cliffs that surround this beach as well.
