Can Cera Gastro Bar is located in the boutique hotel Can Cera, in the heart of old-town Palma. The indoor-outdoor restaurant welcomes hotel guests, local residents and outside visitors for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the year.
Mallorcan and Mediterranean dishes are prepared with an emphasis on using locally sourced ingredients and many are gluten free.

On the menu
Tina Bestard, the head chef at Can Cera, is creating contemporary interpretations of traditional Mallorcan dishes such as coca, flatbread, patatas bravas and paella, while adding in new culinary creations such as Mallorcan Pad Thai or grilled octopus with broccoli couscous.
The “tapas to share”, plates include such dishes as artichokes marinated in olive oil, Parmesan & Balsamic dressing or Olivier salad with tuna belly. “From the Market Garden”, includes seasonal and local market inspired dishes such as summer tomato & avocado tartar with salmon roe or a refreshing sounding gazpacho with tomato sorbet.
Broader Mediterranean influences come through in the flavour enhancing ingredients such as raisins, almonds, olives and lemon. Finish the meal with homemade desserts like coconut panna cotta and Mojito semifreddo & wild berries.
The unique location
Restaurant Can Cera is situated in the Hotel Can Cera, a beautiful architectural example of a former Mallorcan 17th century palace, although the history of the building extends back to the 13th century.
It was renovated and converted into a luxury hotel that combines modern architectural details like black iron doors and glass facades with the rustic charm of the weathered stone, high ceilings, stone archways, and grand, marble stairway. The space feels like a hideaway, a touch of the old world with all contemporary services required of a luxury establishment.
