After a chance meeting in the late 90s in San Sebastian, Alberto Serrano and María José Calabria decided to embrace their passion for food and open Casa Maruka Restaurant in Palma. This restaurant close to Plaza de España serves Mediterranean cuisine with an emphasis on traditional recipes and authentic flavours.
About Casa Maruka Restaurant
Casa Maruka Restaurant is a welcoming and homely restaurant close to the central hub of Plaza de España and the Intermodal Station that serves delectable, home-cooked Mediterranean food. The restaurant has an extensive à la carte menu of popular Spanish and Mediterranean dishes on the large chalkboard as well as changeable specials that depend on the seasonal ingredients that are available. The service is sincere and attentive and the atmosphere of the restaurant is open and inviting. Value for money is excellent and important to María José and Alberto who want to serve affordable cuisine without cutting back on the quality of the food.
Casa Maruka Restaurant’s cuisine uses local produce and fresh ingredients such as the tasty tuna fillet, the juicy beef shank slow-cooked at a low temperature and the famous made-to-order apple pie that is perfect for sharing.
The extensive wine list has a selection of Mallorcan and Spanish wines to complement each dish.
For honest, home-cooked food at a reasonable price, Casa Maruka is definitely the place to go.
