Restaurants all over Palma have recently participated in this year’s tapas tour, TaPalma. Among them, Chez Camille has won two prices for the delicious ‘Milfum’ tapa that can be seen above and has been created by their chef Michail Tsigaras.
The TaPalma jury recognised Chez Camille with the ‘TaPalma de Plata’ (Silver TaPalma) award. The jury was made up of 11 renowned gastronomic experts (some of them with a Michelín Star): Fernando Arellano, Marc Fosh, Oscar Rodríguez, Saúl Cepeda, Víctor García, Juan Romero, Lydia Corral, Koldo Royo, José Ramón Peiró, Javier Soriano and Iñigo Morales de Rada. The other two winners of this prize were: Bite restaurant (Golden TaPalma for their ‘castañuela de mar’ tapa) and Hotel Costa Azúl (Bronze TaPalma for their ‘la mar de sardina’ tapa).
The Milfum was also voted the 3rd ‘Mi Tapa Favorita’ (My Favourite Tapa) award by those who took part in the tour. This wonderful tapa consists of crispy millefeuilles with smoked bacon, served at low temperature, with squid and smoked mayonnaise – and will be soon integrated in Chez Camille’s Menu.
