Palma’s luxury hotel Palacio Can Marques kicked off the festive season in style with a ‘Trim the Tree’ Christmas cocktail party on 28th November. Located in the historic La Lonja neighbourhood, the beautifully renovated boutique hotel attracted a sharply dressed mix of Palma society for delicious cocktails, gourmet finger food, and plenty of yuletide cheer.
Guests made donations to local charity Aspanob, in exchange for baubles to help decorate the Christmas tree. This was then illuminated to a background of festive singing (which certainly got everyone in the Christmas mood!). The whole event was for a good cause, and a considerable sum was raised to support children with cancer – a charity close to many hearts on the island.
The Christmas cheer continued late into the evening with lots of singing and dancing to a Christmas-themed playlist. Guests had a wonderful time and shared their photos on social media using the #xmasatpalaciocanmarques hashtag.
