The Romero brothers took over the running of this restaurant in Port d’Andratx in 2008, and turned it into a sophisticated setting in which to enjoy good food.
The luxurious interior is very modern, with a welcoming bar area on entry. The restaurant is behind this, and there is also a pleasant terrace, where you can enjoy the lovely views of the port and mountains. It’s a large restaurant, accommodating some 150 covers.
The restaurant is professionally run by Paco – front of house – who leads an experienced team. We thought he could be a bit friendlier, but the service as a whole is good and attentive. His brother Angel is in the kitchen, preparing Mediterranean and crowd-pleasing dishes from the international culinary repertoire.
The lunchtime set menu is good value for money, given the quality of the food, at less than 25 euros. The lobster paella tried during our visit was very good. There’s a good choice of wines, not unreasonably priced for the location. Food prices are about average for the port, but the quality is higher.
We love: The sophisticated ambience and gorgeous views.
