Ditch the artifice of the swimming pool and water park and go coasteering. There is something very James Bond about advancing along the coastline by way of adventure swimming, diving, snorkelling and climbing, or scrambling up rock and abseiling down cliffs, clad in a wetsuit. The sport can be tailored to be easy or more challenging by a local guide who will take you to little-known coastal sections. Children and families can participate for a day never to forget!
Deep water soloing, known locally as ‘Psicobloc’, is a thrilling extreme sport, similar to coasteering but incorporating solo climbing over a deep body of water. Hotspots are located east at Cova Del Diablo, Cala Serena and Cala Barques. This is only for the experienced climber and never ever to be tried alone.
