The 29th Challenge Ciclista will once again see international cycling teams arriving on Mallorca. It comprises a series of four one day professional bike races.
What to expect
Challenge Ciclista is used as an early season preparatory event by many of the top UCI World teams. It is held over four days, from 30th January to 2nd February, and includes one day racing through Palma.
Due to the recent inclement weather, the Serra de Tramuntana Trophy route has been modified. Covering a distance of 160.5km, the route will be as follows: Sóller, Deia, Esporles, S’Esgleieta, Bunyola, Santa Maria, Consell, Binissalem, Lloseta, Selva, Campanet, Pollença, Escorca, Sóller, Deià. The island is a paradise for cyclists and the Ciclista Challenge promises to be a very scenic challenge indeed.
