Modern but natural, balanced and yet not without drama. Bold contrasts could be seen throughout with black and white decorations set against a canvas of muted colours.
English, Spanish, German
Rattan rugs softened black stone floors, monochromatic vases sat beneath simple wicker lampshades. The interplay of textures added flavour and contemporary panache to each space, while wood, cowhide and organic shapes bestowed a natural essence to industrial modernist decor.
Applying the philosophy of less is more, the accessories were carefully chosen to add playful touches to the sophisticated layout. White ceramic cacti introduced an element of humour to the tasteful living room; in the dining area, a series of tin Americana wall signs in black and neon inspired cosy nostalgia. Slate-grey pots of sweeping green rushes tempered the sleek juxtapositions, bringing the warmth of nature into the interior.
The outside area conjured a feeling of relaxed summer evenings. Smooth white shell chairs, oversized bean bags and rustic tree-trunk stools invited the looker to visualise more than a way of unwinding. Not a difficult challenge when immersed in the delicious atmosphere and stunning surrounding of the Mediterranean.
