The most important event on the calendar for the residents of Andratx, this fair began as a cattle and livestock festival that over the years has evolved into a celebration of all things Mallorcan. Artisans, farmers and people from the agricultural industries on the island meet every year at the end of March or the beginning of April to show off their livestock, farming equipment, produce and handicrafts.
There is a large craft market that extends through the gardens of the town hall and the streets that surround it as well as folk groups performing for the crowds and live music throughout the day. Don’t miss the various parades, equestrian exhibitions and presentations that take place throughout the town.
An excellent addition to this festival is the “Ruta de la Tapa” which takes you on a tour of the local restaurants that all serve typical of Mediterranean cuisine, as well as “panades”, sobrasada, cured hams and generous glasses of local wine.
