This autumnal fair in Campos puts a contemporary spin on the traditional slaughter of the pig event. Its market and workshops are dedicated to pork products.
What to expect
Campos reserves three days to this gastronomic fair. From the 22nd to 24th October the south-eastern town entertains and educates visitors and locals with its artisan market, live bands, butchery & cooking workshops, and children’s activities.
The main focus is the native black pig, responsible for Mallorca’s most traditional dishes. At the fair you’ll be able to taste typical Frito Mallorquín; a fried combination of meat, blood, liver, potatoes, red peppers and garlic. There will also be plenty of sausage products such as the renowned sobrassada, botifarrons (Catalan sausage), camaiot (mixed sausage) and blanquets (sausage made with lard and pine kernels).
