About Forn de Sant Joan Restaurant
Forn de Sant Joan is located in La Lonja, Palma’s old town. Located in a 14th-century building and converted into a restaurant by its founder, Joan Baqués, in 1992. Recently remodeled by his sons, FORN is the ideal top restaurant in Palma de Mallorca for a business or informal lunch, an unforgettable evening with your partner or to celebrate a special occasion with friends and loved ones.
The restaurant has four levels, four environments where you can enjoy four different experiences. The Celler, informal and elegant, the Crystal Room, small and intimate, the Red Room, perfect for a romantic evening and the Bar-Lounge, with its modern and sober design, ideal for having some tapas in Palma de Mallorca or a drink before or after dinner.
The excellent service is undoubtedly key to their success, composed of top-notch professionals, who take care of even the smallest detail.
The restaurant is also noted for its varied and well-balanced menu, its extensive and carefully chosen wine cellar, and a selection of imaginative and delicious desserts.
In Forn Sant Joan you will find a wide variety of mouthwatering delicacies, from an exotic Thai salad as a starter, to Raviolis, fresh Monkfish or a delicious duck confit, all to be succumbed at the very end maybe with a traditional ‘Crema Catalana Forn’ -the Forn’s own Crème Brulée-.
Apart from its extensive and differing night and lunch menus, there is a range of tapas available too. There is also great daily lunch menus available, and special menus for group bookings, which require a minimum of 15 people.
Remember you can enjoy a Special Lunch Menu for only 21€ every Sunday!
In case you were wondering, Forn de Sant Joan also offers a varied selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails for everyone. From the traditional 24-hour cocktails where we find the beloved Margarita or Cosmopolitan, to premium gins, daiquiris, delicious pre-dinner drinks, and alcohol-free beverages.
