The Hilton Sa Torre presented a menu for the 45 people who gather at the soup kitchen every afternoon at the Asociación Altruista Es Refugi.
The chef, Carlos Sierra Galán, who leads the team hotel kitchen prepared a menu of octopus and veal cheeks, which came as a surprise to the attendees of the food hall. They were not expecting a meal featured by the prestigious hotel establishment.
The menu for this event was made available through the collaboration and contribution of all the employees of the Hilton Sa Torre, who wanted to show their solidarity and social commitment to those living in or at risk of social exclusion and lack the economic resources for a healthy, balanced diet and ensure them a healthy meal.
Furthermore, the Hilton Sa Torre donated clothing and hygiene products such as razors, shaving cream and soap, among other things, in order to improve the daily lives of the 49 people living in the shelter managed by the Asociación Altruista Es Refugi. The hotel also donated two bikes in support of those seeking employment to help with the ease of transportation.
