A hotel, thermal spa and wellness centre, opened in 2012, offering something unique in the Balearic Islands: natural thermal waters, which emerge from the land at 38ºC. Local legends tell that these mineral-rich waters were discovered and used by the Ancient Romans, but it is known that – from the 16th century – people came here for the healing waters, and lodgings were provided. It wasn’t until 1845 that the thermal baths were housed in a building.

The original spa (which changed from public to private ownership in the early 20th century) has been replaced with this modern adults-only hotel – the sister property to Can Simoneta Hotel in Canyamel – in this protected area of south Mallorca. Bulgari toiletries, spectacular sunset views, and proximity to Es Trenc virgin beach and the salt pans and their ‘white mountains’.
The hotel is a restored 19th century building with 25 rooms and suites – most of which have their own terrace. All are spacious, decorated in relaxing light neutral colours, and have the benefit of hardwood floors, and Mallorcan architectural features.
There are one, three, and six day spa packages, if you want to take full advantage of the thermal waters here.
