Rurally located in the east of the island – and only a short drive from several good beaches and the town of Porreres, this hotel is centred around a 13th century building – with newer additions built traditionally in stone. There are plenty of lovely rustic interior features here, like the old well inside the reception area, as well as wooden beams and a lot of exposed stone walls. Contemporary features include WiFi throughout the hotel.
There are 38 rooms with terraces – a mix of singles, doubles and suites. Interiors are mixed too. Some have ceramic tiled floors, others polished wood. Some have modern wooden furniture, others traditional Mallorcan.
The hotel has extensive gardens, including a vineyard. Rooms in the one-storey stone extension overlook the terraced swimming pool. There’s an à la carte restaurant for dinner, and snacks are available at lunchtime.
The variety of spa days and treatments, including chiropractic, acupuncture and Reiki.
The spa has a decent-sized indoor pool, Turkish bath, Finnish sauna, and wellness centre (therapies available). Yoga, Pilates and Aquagym classes are held regularly. For something more active, there are floodlit tennis courts.
