More for the home, excitement for kids and a better, improved restaurant. IKEA’s move from its old Polígono de Llevant premises to the new location on Camí Fondo, on the same industrial estate, was celebrated with a large special event.
IKEA arrived in Mallorca in 1992, bringing an entirely fresh and different element to interiors on the island. After 24 years, the store has reinvented itself with 6400m2 of space split over two floors dedicated to everything for the home, stamped with distinctive Swedish style and ingenuity.
Smalland, a great play space for children aged between three and eight, is likely to prove popular with parents and kids alike; while the 320 cover restaurant offers a wide variety of Swedish menu choices.
Store opening times are from 10:00 h to 22:00 h, Monday to Saturday.
