Where are you from originally?
Hamburg – Germany.
How long have you been living on Mallorca?
Our interior design company has existed for about 15 years on Mallorca. The first years in Santanyí, the last ten years in Palma. We have lived here for the last 10 years.
What do you love most about living on Mallorca?
The relaxed atmosphere, international clientele, the nature, the weather…
Where is your interior design space?
In the centre of Palma, Plaza Chopin.
How would you describe your décor style?
International, mixing modern furniture with antiques and vintage pieces to create a special look. Eclectic!
Give me a profile of you typical client.
A couple in their forties or fifties, wealthy, who know what they want and we help them to achieve their own style in their house or flat.
What would be your dream project?
A boutique hotel in the old town of Palma.
What is your top interior design tip for readers?
Forget the typical finca style; create a modern, light look.
What is the most interesting project you have ever done and why?
A huge casa señorial on Mallorca. We were the consultant and turned the 1200qm ruined house into a wine marketing estate. We were involved in building, interior design and landscaping. The look is now 19th century with all modern amenities. It took three years to complete this project.
