On March 23rd Nobility Portraitist Jose María Fayos will open his art studio in an important town palace near the Palma Cathedral. Prominent personalities from politics, culture and economy will attend the event.
Fayos began his studies with Luis Massoni and continued studying in Madrid, Paris and Italy. His art is figurative and throughout his career he has specialised in the traditional portraiture. José María Fayos is painting for the Spanish nobility and many of his works have been awarded. His work culminated with the portrait of His Majesty the King Juan Carlos I for the Royal Cavalry of Zaragoza as well as the portrait of His Royal Highness Prince Felipe de Borbón for the Council of the Orders of Chivalry. The painting of landscapes and gardens is another focus of his work and some of these paintings will be on display at the opening ceremony.
