In a sumptuous evening event, Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa unveiled its exciting ‘Fusion Cuisine’ concept to collected foodies, cocktail lovers and wine connoisseurs alike. It was the latest in a series of innovative food and drink pairing events, designed to showcase the best gastronomy of Mallorca and beyond.
It was a date to remember for all fusion cuisine enthusiasts, as Cap Roig Restaurant delighted with a tasting menu of six dishes that combined the very best of Peruvian cuisine with the restaurant’s own innovative approach to Mediterranean cooking.
Chef Irene Gutierrez Huamani of Sumaq, Palma’s first restaurant specialising in Peruvian fusion cuisine, got together with Jumeirah Port Soller Hotel & Spa to fuse all Peru’s tastes and aromas with those of the Mediterranean.
And what better backdrop could diners have than Jumeirah Port Soller’s Cap Roig Restaurant, with its warm friendly indoor dining area and outdoor terrace under the pine trees overlooking Mediterranean waters that stretch out into infinity. An evening to treasure and a sensory experience of new exotic tastes and aromas, further enhanced by the fragrance of Mediterranean vegetation and the pinks and golds of the setting sun.
