Clean lines and organic colours lend an air of simplicity to this beautiful kitchen by Espacio Home Design. Bespoke cupboards with integrated handles and a central island equipped with a discreet sink offer practical solutions while avoiding interrupting the flow. The attractive island also has a shelf designed to hold cookbooks and ornaments.
The composition of the different elements, quality of the materials and use of cutting edge kitchen brands are all significant. The electrical appliances, including the inductions hob, oven and wine cabinet, are by Gaggenau. The fridge and dishwasher designed by Miele. The highly efficient extractor fan is Gutmann engineering.
The superior quality and diversity of the materials adds depth and tone. Binissalem-style Zarci-coloured stone worktops contrast with the treated oak details. The colours were selected by the client and highly personalised. The designer stools are simultaneously functional and works of art. Indeed, every piece of dining furniture has been carefully considered as an individual piece and for its role in the composition of a truly uplifting space.
Beyond the kitchen, the barbecue area provides another harmonious zone for cooking. The sleek barbecue is integrated into a natural-coloured stone wall, which echoes that of the kitchen and brings into the contemporary Santa Ponsa villa the warmth and life of the island’s natural landscape. Once again, the materials play an important part in the overall vision of elegance and sense of balance. This kitchen and barbecue project has achieved that Mediterranean vibe, which invites friends and families to gather together to enjoy great conversation and cuisine.
