La Lonja in Palma – one of the most important Gothic buildings in the Balearics – is now open to the public again and can be visited free of charge until May 19th.
The iconic building was closed for a three-year renovation project and, newly reformed, was the venue for important exhibitions by Fabrizio Plessi and Bernardí Roig.
Since March 2012 La Lonja has been open for school visits, welcoming more than 700 pupils through its doors. In March this year, the 15th century building reopened its doors to the public. After May 19th La Lonja will host an exhibition by British artist Tony Cragg, the globally renowned sculptor.
