About Las Adelfas
With a new culinary concept since 2017, Las Adelfas restaurant aims to deliver a full gastronomic experience in Santa Ponsa. Led by the vision of Austrian owner Herrn Komm R. Scheiflinger, its professional team focuses on a combination of service and a carefully-selected range of Mediterranean cuisine, in a luxurious setting.
Las Adelfas has three different areas: the main restaurant, outdoor terrace and a casual corner for guests to relax and enjoy pintxos (small, tasty snacks), drinks and cocktails.
The elegant interior decor in natural shades features nautical touches such as reclaimed beach wood and seafaring images, lending the space a harmonious feel.
Described as avante-garde, food at Las Adelfas concentrates on five types of cuisine. The restaurant specialises in ‘Cataplanas’; a kind of Portuguese stew cooked in a copper pot, allowing for maximum concentration of flavours. Fish and seafood varieties are most popular at Las Adelfas, which does this type of dish exclusively on the island.
The chef also offers high-quality meat and seafood dishes, locally sourced; Spanish and Austrian tapas plates, and the aforementioned pintxos. The perfect accompaniment to drinks in a casual bar environment, pintxos differ from tapas in that savoury toppings are held together on a bread base by little sticks (pierced).
