The contemporary white house with guest house, tennis court, infinity pool and lush gardens – perched on top of the exclusive golf area – is a mere 10 minutes’ drive from the city centre, and belongs to a German family who have had a second home on Mallorca for more than two decades.
The panoramic views once you arrive on the terrace are breathtaking – in fact it is difficult to focus on conversation as your attention is constantly drawn to the energy of the city below, the sparkling Mediterranean, and the vast natural wooded area of the Tramuntana mountains.
Pulling myself away from the views for a moment, I focus again on the handsome international jet-setter and family man sitting next to me, as he fondly describes life in the idyllic setting and tells me more about his successful professional career in the real estate sector – mainly in Germany.
He works as a property consultant and advisor who helps his clients to optimise their investment in mainly commercial properties. The property expert singles out the recently opened Sant Francesc Hotel Singular in Palma as a dream project, “sustainability and working on high-quality properties is the most important for me, and these ‘palacio’ buildings in the Old Town have so much potential for development.”
This 42-bedroom boutique hotel opened in 2015 and is now considered the best on Mallorca offering an impressive restaurant, rooftop pool, terrace and bar and is the perfect location in Palma de Mallorca. […] Step inside Hotel Sant Francesc Singular…
The proud Bavarian remembers ‘love at first sight’ when he viewed the Son Vida property in 1991. Since then the vacation home has undergone five major renovations in 24 years. The latest reformation included a complete refit of the pool – which was the backdrop of a recent fashion shoot produced by abcMallorca, featuring a model in the infinity pool and the view of the island of Cabrera in the far distance.
This impressive home is much more than less!
