Macià Batle wines have won 3 new medals in the International Wine and Spirits Competition that was celebrated between the 15th and the 17th of November in Valladolid on the mainland. This prestigious competition is recognised by the Ministry of Environment and Rural and Marine Affairs in Spain.
The local Mallorcan wines from Santa Maria, Consell, Binissalem, Santa Eugènia and Sencelles strongly dominated during the competition. The Macià Batle wine from 2010 had already received various prizes in the past including the Berlin Wine Trophy and Mundos Vini, both well known competitions held in Germany.
The other two medals were awarded for the Macia Batle 2009 reserve and the special Alfred Lichter edition from the same year. Both of these wines convinced the committee through quality and a unique taste.
