Michelin Star chef, Álvaro Salazar, has set up his new kitchen and donned his chef whites at the prestigious Park Hyatt Mallorca in Canyamel. Chef Salazar, who was also selected as Chef of the Year in Spain and separately in Mallorca is excited by the challenge of adding to the gastronomic experience of the Park Hyatt.
General Manager of the Park Hyatt Mallorca, Franck Sibille commented that “We are delighted to welcome Álvaro and his entire team. His arrival is aligned with our positioning strategy of Cap Vermell and Park Hyatt Mallorca as a gastronomic destination. We are confident that their creativity and culinary skills will be added to the resort’s current gastronomic offer with success. ”
Salazar brings with him his talented team that have accompanied him at the Argos restaurant and other prestigious restaurants such as Echaurren, Tragabuches and Sergi Arola Gastro; Mario Wolgast as Room Director and Host, María Cano, second in the kitchen and Sela Priego, in bakery and desserts.
The luxury five-star Park Hyatt Mallorca hotel complex takes its inspiration from the traditional Spanish mountain villages that surround it and the beautiful landscape of the island.
