This Marc Fosh Mediterranean basement brasserie in the Hotel Misión de San Miguel has a great atmosphere and is the home of some fine rustic cooking, described as worldly farmhouse food at its very best by The New York Times.
The brasserie has homely décor, including shelves packed with jars of preserved fruits and vegetables, and cookery books, and tables with potted plants on.
It feels particularly cosy at night. In fine weather, you can sit in the attractive hotel courtyard, with its charming rustic decorative touches.
Head chef Raúl García Floro worked in the Basque country before coming to Mallorca and has worked at Misa since 2012. Misa offers à la carte dishes and a great value lunch menu of the week with choices per course.
House specialities are the classic roasted farmhouse chicken and fillet of beef with béarnaise sauce – both dishes for two to share. Start or end your meal in the trendy bar upstairs (where snacks are also served) with a creative cocktail.
We love…the secret spicing on the classic roasted farmhouse chicken.
